I can’t escape the noise.
The sound is too much to bear.
Happiness is attained through careful reflection.
My understanding is born within the silence.
I listen for Your voice…
As soon as You speak, the transmission is gone.
The words are swallowed up in the chaos and frustration of mundane conversation.
I want You to speak to me.
I need to hear Your wisdom in order to battle these dark thoughts.
My human nature can be combatted, but Your words are drowned out by my actions.
In that moment I’m blind, but now I can see.
Within this desperate plea, You just spoke to me.
