Growing up, I didn't really spend too much time exploring the outdoors. Don't get me wrong - I skateboarded and spent a decent amount of my summers on Lake Minnetonka - but the idea of camping made me nervous. I felt comfortable in the city; being in the middle of nowhere sleeping in a tent was not on my bucket list. This all changed when I took a road trip to Montana with some friends and visited Glacier National Park. Although I was nervous going into it, I'm so happy I did. Glacier is like stepping into another world. In one day I got to see mountain goats, climb a mountain, and jump into a Glacier lake! Coldest water I've ever been in - but so worth it! That night I camped for the first time but after this experience, certainly not my last.
